D.T. Read Steel Co., Inc. specializes in installing reinforcing steel, Stay-in-Place (S-I-P) metal decking, bridge shear studs, and post-tension cable. As a subcontractor, we focus on heavy/highway projects, commercial, and industrial projects for our rebar and welding/decking operations.
We are collectively supported by a management team with numerous decades of combined construction field and office experience with government, municipal, private and design-build work. Since our company's inception, we have held a perfect 100% project completion ratio, and we stand very prideful of that fact. We strive to be the very best at what we do without sacrificing safety, dependability, efficiency, quality, experience, and/or professionalism. We stand proud that our work speaks for itself.

A Little About Us...
Following family tradition as a subcontractor, Donald T. Read, Jr., founded D.T. Read Steel Co., Inc. in August 1991. The original family rebar placing business was formed in 1962, however, our family has been involved in the steel installation business in some capacity for 5 generations.
